What will we become and what were we? How do we imagine the future and how will the future imagine our present, say a thousand years from now? Through interviews with experts from a wide range of disciplines and use of conceptual storytelling, Third Ear’s two-part podcast speculatively maps our future imaginary far beyond the familiar and expected. The podcast uses the perspective of the far future as a prism to think about radical transformations our life conditions that fundamentally challenge contemporary notions of societies, technology, nationality and eventually also of humanity. Part 1 speculates about how we might communicate with the far future, while Part 2 looks back at our present from the far future. Podcast available for download on M9’s website.
